MISSION

The mission of the Black Beer Project is to elevate visibility of African Americans in the beer industry. Whether we are behind the bar or brewing, filming or fermenting, African Americans are a big part of the Craft Beer culture. We are owners, service people, sales reps, media, and more.

The goal is simple. We want to gather images of Black people to pair with your love stories about beer! The Images and tales of ale will be displayed on Black Beer Project website and companion social media pages.

The more visibility of Black men and women working at local and national brewers will show that diversity in beer isn’t just important, but it exists and it is growing every day.
